In case you were wondering…
If you have a blogger account, and you’ve set your comments to deny anonymous commenters, I can’t comment, either, because I’m coming from a WordPress account.
So, my commenter who comes from Trivialissimo, it’s not that I don’t care, and it’s not that I’m not thrilled you found your little guy’s sleep sweet spot, I just can’t TELL you so on your blog!

Blogger gives you NO satisfactory way of blocking spam comments. When you check ‘ no anonymous comments’ you are not told that means anyone who isn’t from Blogger.
Thanks for letting us know this. I have to check that I allow anonymous comments.
I haven’t been blog reading too much lately, but I’m catching up. I like the new look here.
That is a peeve of mine as well, as I happen to read a ton of Blogger blogs …
Hi Mary! I didn’t even know I had that function turned on – I’ll cut it off now!
This is why I tend to have odd accounts dotted all over the place so I can comment on friends blogs. Also have an unused LJ account just for commenting.
It’s a right pain, but then I suppose so is dealing with all the spam
A Google account lets you comment on Blogger blogs (usually). If you use Google Reader as an aggregator or gmail or whatever, that login should work on Blogger (be sure to check the “login with Google” bit). Much easier than setting up a Blogger ID.
