About
A childcare provider is expected to be a superhuman mix of the Madonna and Mary Poppins, ever patient, loving, kind, always delighting in the sweetness of her charges. I don’t do such a bad job, all in all, and it’s far more likely the parents than the children who strain my sanity most days. But I’m here to tell you: It’s Not ALL Mary Poppins…

25 on Monday? Holy Hannah, I didn’t hear that one. Time to unpack the summer clothes.
It’s like that in southern Illinois too. I was all set to move a previously planned outdoor birthday party to another location, then all of a sudden -> 75F. Not that I’m complaining…
Isn’t it crazy? But believe me, we are taking advantage. Walks outside! Maybe, I hope we could take Jeffrey for his first bike ride? Oh, the joys of firsts and fun weather.
Same in Indiana. Try explaining to your 3 year old who keeps asking “Mommy, is it winter now? When it gets warmer is it summer?” I’ve just decided that spring is the season where we go back and forth. He seems to buy that explination.
Nice! I wonder if we have something similar? We got a day of like 65-70F (17-20C? It’s early, I did it in my head!) on Monday. Before it continued to snow for the rest of the week.
Same thing here! We had 30s last week - today it’s supposed to get to 70+. I love the warm weather, but man the shifts like this make me crazy. Actually then tend to give me a cold.
crazy eh? Monday I wore a thick sweater & my winter coat, today I have on capris & a t-shirt!
I AM SO DAMN HAPPY!!!
Seriously, it was really getting me down, and now I’m delighted. Amazing the difference a few days can make.
Wow! (Yes, I had to use your conversion calculator–thanks!)
It’s been like that here, too! The temp today is pleasant but VERY WINDY! (I’ll take it!)
It’s been both crazy and verrrrrry disturbing these extreme shifts in weather. Here in Cali where it’s usually pretty temperate it’s really beginning to freak us out!
