About
A childcare provider is expected to be a superhuman mix of the Madonna and Mary Poppins, ever patient, loving, kind, always delighting in the sweetness of her charges. I don’t do such a bad job, all in all, and it’s far more likely the parents than the children who strain my sanity most days. But I’m here to tell you: It’s Not ALL Mary Poppins…

Hockey!! Those are some pure Canadian kids, alright.
I agree. No matter what, that is Hockey–Mary P Style!
Those are GREAT pictures (especially with the rainbow mocassins).
Hockey–Mary P Style
She is so cute wearing a basket on her head!
The photos in this post prove the point I made earlier, that Tim Allen’s “Home Improvement” show has marked your photographic style for life.
Q
Haley: They get it entirely on their own – or from home – because as you well know, a sports fan I ain’t. But this, this is too cute, and I love it!
Hausfrau: I just now recalled a really funny thing they were doing, too. Every couple of minutes, they’d stop and stand with their backs pressed to the cupboards, so that – get this – the Zamboni could go through!! ROTFL
Weirdgirl: He has an uncle or something that has provided him with those things since he was born. This is his third pair. I agree – they’re great!
Q: Thanks, but you won’t be seeing me sporting a basket on my head anytime soon…
FYI: were you to ask the boys, those are not baskets, those are their helmets. Sheesh.
Oh my gawd! Anything involving a piece of wood like that in the BoyChild’s hands would be DANGEROUS!
m&co: Nope, never had an injury. Of course, I watch them very closely at first, and when they seem to have the idea, I let them at it. Otherwise, they’re not allowed to play. These two little darlin’s, though, are 98% reliable.
I love the rainbow-coloured fluffy slippers. Appropriate footwear is vital in any sporting endeavour. 🙂
