It’s Not All Mary Poppins

No Idea Why…

…but this strikes me, the eternal optimist, whose glass is almost always half FULL, as very funny.

(And yes, you can actually get yourself one of these things here.)

    Love your tag. Let’s see if I remember my Greek myths accurately: he’s the one whose punishement in Hades was to roll a rock up an endless hill, right? I have days where I feel like that…

  4. Ummm…unimaginative?

    NOT FAIR!! I take that back!

    No, really, I’d say:
    half full – optimist (see my sidebar);
    half empty – pessimist;
    half a cup – pragmatist.

    How’s that?

  9. The liquid it’s holding just have to be dark or black to have that added effect of pessimism, right?

  10. I love Demotivators! One of my ex co-workers had a framed print hanging in her office (not sure how she got away with it unless the powers that be just didn’t read it).

    Beautiful image of snow capped mountains and an eagle soaring above them. The word “Leaders” was emblazend below the pic. In smaller letters, “Leaders are like eagles. We don’t have either of them here.”

  11. Kyra: Yes, you sent me a link to a website. Not to worry! Evidently I forgot to say thank you…

    QueenBee: That’s right. No frothy pink confection allowed in THIS mug!

    Andie: That one’s on the site, too. I saw it. And what? Irony wasn’t allowed in the workplace? Poo on that.

    I liked one that said, “Winners never quit. Quitters never win. But if you never win, and never quit, you’re an idiot.” Bwah-hahahaha…
