A childcare provider is expected to be a superhuman mix of the Madonna and Mary Poppins, ever patient, loving, kind, always delighting in the sweetness of her charges. I don’t do such a bad job, all in all, and it’s far more likely the parents than the children who strain my sanity most days. But I’m here to tell you: It’s Not ALL Mary Poppins…

Reminds me of home.
That was last week for me … no fun!
Gross! But where’s the picture of you washing your hands half a billion times?
Well, at least it’s noses and nothing gastrointestinal 🙂
Looks fun. Don’t catch a cold.
Oh, I’m sorry–I thought two were bad! That + never ending drool (on the baby) has been our week. So I can empathize.
Heh…Today, for the first time ever, I looked at one of my Pre-Kers standing beside me and said “Please stop picking your nose.” He said “OK” and stopped.
Achoo! Hey, you wouldn’t have a tissue would ya?
Cold weather. Cold Season. Remember I’ll be looking to you for Winterlude pictures soon.
you’ve been trying to smother the children? that’s a rough week…
I find that hoods make a good place to store kid-specific tissues….
That is hilarious. I have my second kid home this week today.
I hope you don’t get it. And I hope I don’t get it too.
Well, try to get plenty of sleep, drink plenty of liquids, and keep plenty of tissues close to hand! Here’s hoping you manage to avoid the bug!
I was never so happy as when Ally recently learned to blow her own nose correctly. Good times…
Thanks for all your good wishes. Hopes that I not catch the bug come too late: I’m finally recovering, after suffering TWO colds, back-to-back. Sniff.
thinker – welcome! drop by again!
Haley – no pics of the hand-washing, but I think I can see my hands getting drier and drier in each shot…
Laura – from my perspective, a gastro. bug would be better. I can send them home for that!!
Steph – this is the first time you ever asked one to stop?? Patience of Job, my dear. 😀
Tina – I have stocks in Kleenex, and I’m the primary reason they’re going up…
Lara – second comment of yours this week that’s made me snort tea out my nose. Thanks!
Avandon – use those all the time when we’re outside! Too bad they tend not to have hoods in the house.
ktjrn – none of these can blow at all yet, never mind blow their own noses. Oh, the snot…
too funny!
haven’t been to read for a couple of days as that’s what I’ve been doing every waking hour LittleE is away (he;s getting over RSV)…make me laugh out aloud :>)
