It’s Not All Mary Poppins

Perspective

Emma, looking at the family calendar on the fridge: “Oh, wow! It’s less than a week!”

Me: “I know. Monday already. Kind of startling, isn’t it?”

Emma: “What? Oh, not the wedding, mom. The season finale of House!

  2. Wow. Full radio silence apart from Jenny. Are you guys all appalled at the callousness of the kid, and uncertain how to respond without cricitizing her? Not to worry! Emma is thrilled about the wedding. Totally into the planning and the clothes and the decorating and the invitation lists and the seat plans (though we decided not to have one).

But she also really, really, really likes House.

    🙂

  4. No! Silence because I’m too busy for stuff! And for things! But I’m here now, specifically to wish you well for tomorrow (tomorrow? Next week? See? I’m too busy).

(I’m just behind on bloghopping–not appalled!)
Hope the wedding goes well and your daughter gets to watch House in its entirety! 😉
