A childcare provider is expected to be a superhuman mix of the Madonna and Mary Poppins, ever patient, loving, kind, always delighting in the sweetness of her charges. I don’t do such a bad job, all in all, and it’s far more likely the parents than the children who strain my sanity most days. But I’m here to tell you: It’s Not ALL Mary Poppins…

Apparently I’m the Nerd King
http://a-state-of-mind.blogspot.com/
Hey, I’m the same kind of geek you are! Let’s start a club!
We’re waiting for my husband’s best friend to take this test. We suspect he will be the Lord High Uber-Nerd.
I guess I’m not as nerdy as I thought. I’m a Light Weight Nerd.
I’m kinda dorky history/lit geek.
I always knew I wasn’t cool.
So not cool.
http://www.nerdtests.com/ft_nt2.php?score
The link didn’t work. Told you I wasn’t cool. I scored high on literature, okay on history, and a dork on anything to do with electronics and/or computers.
Bil: Look at all your long blue lines! You know, there are some tests you really don’t want a high score in…
Florinda: Sure! Should we do it on WIM? That seems to be where all the interesting stuff is happening these days.
Sheri: I’d say this is a good thing, right? Better than Lord High Uber-Nerd, at any rate. :p
Z: I’ve never really aspired to it, and I doubt you have, either. Here’s the ironic thing: I was a geek all through high school, when I would have been most likely to care; now that I have teen-age children and truly have no patience with the idea of striving to be cool? I am “the cool mom”, or so I’m told.
Ann: Gee. You seem to do pretty well with computers for such an under-achiever. 😉
Hey I like those long Blue lines (-:
Science / Math (no problem there)
Technology / Computer (no problem there)
Sci-Fi / Comic (no problem there)
History / Literature (definitely no problem)
Dumb / Dork / Awkward ( thank God my lowest score and not blue – and a totally subjective point )
I’m far from the classic nerd but that said what’s wrong with being a nerd. You have to love the way these things develop the nerd label was a adolescent creation, high school where the general ignorance level means that those that are not quite so ignorant are in the minority and as humans inevitably do the minority becomes the category of scorn and thus gets a derogatory label.
The biggest nerd I know of is Bill Gates how now has enough money to buy most nations of the world.
So if I am the Nerd King then he is subject number one.
As King can I tax him?
Okay I am a dyslexic nerd that types to fast “Bill Gates who now has enough money to buy most nations”
