It’s Not All Mary Poppins


is very much fun…
though there’s no arguing
that’s it’s pretty awkward to maneouvre through the stuff
when the snowbanks are three times taller than you.

  1. I love this. They are so bundled up–it’s adorable!

    The calculations are thus: 20 – 30 minutes to bundle them up; 5 – 10 to un-bundle them, and, if you’re lucky 10 minutes outside before someone is crying from the cold… But cute? You betcha!

  2. Awwww, look at them with their hats and their little shovels…hehe.

    They LOVE those shovels! And all that winter gear? It’s also pretty decent protection against their buddies’ snow shovels…

  3. Our little ones would love to have snow like that. When we get any snow, it’s usually gone in a day except for brown icy slush.

    The first snowfall is met with GREAT excitement, and the first snowfall that settles in to stay is always very much welcomed, by the children, at any rate. Me, though I am less delighted with the snow, I do love to watch them flounder about.
