It’s Not All Mary Poppins

Ego-centric, much?

Emma is in the bathroom. She hears a knock on the door — “I could tell from the knock it was a daycare kid.”

“Who is it?”

“ME!”

Well, that certainly clarifies things.

  2. We have this conversation in the bathroom every morning while I shower.
    knock
    who is it?
    Me
    Me who
    My name’s not MEEEE
oh, sorry Not Meeee, I didn’t know that was your whole name.
    My name’s not Not Me.
    oh, sorry, Not-Not-Me.
    That’s not my name!
    Hi, That’s Not.
    etc
    etc
etc as long as I can stand it

Oh, you have waaaaay more patience than I do! I’m so glad my kids aren’t toddlers any more… I only have to deal with this during working hours!
