That sounds like our breakout of Fifths that everyone got this year, except that the incubation period for Fifths is so long that one kid would come down with it, then three weeks later then next kid would get it. It took about three months, but I think every kid in the neighbourhood eventually had it.
Sorry to hear your gang is down for the count. Hopefully they are all back to normal soon!
