Oxymoron
A living, breathing one:
William runs the loop — living room, dining room, hallway —
over and over and over again,
small feet pounding, pounding, pounding on the floor,
and as he runs
round and round and round and round and round and round and round,
he is calling out,
over and over again…
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!”
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I’m out of power!
I wish.
Hehehe.
Those were called Happy Laps by my toddler who learned to count to 100 by doing that number of laps. Never out of power!
