About
A childcare provider is expected to be a superhuman mix of the Madonna and Mary Poppins, ever patient, loving, kind, always delighting in the sweetness of her charges. I don’t do such a bad job, all in all, and it’s far more likely the parents than the children who strain my sanity most days. But I’m here to tell you: It’s Not ALL Mary Poppins…

We have a heavy rainfall warning in effect for tonight! And it’s 8C already this morning! Dark & grey, mind you, but at least the snow is almost gone.
You should have seen the mud tracked in to my kitchen yesterday, though…
We’ve had some really warm — okay, mild — days since those pictures were taken. I’m planning on taking some more pictures this week, and track the difference. The mud, she is beginning here, too, though we still have far more ice than mud yet.

I wish I could go back to being a child so I could once again appreciate winter. Spring is trying to appear but definitely NOT fast enough. Great Pictures MaryP.

Awwww such cute pics. Yes, Spring is in the air if not yet on the ground, it’s a start and I’ll take it. I’m with Bill too, I wish I could appreciate the winter like I remember doing as a child or even when my kids were small. Sledding, skating, snowmen, frosty forts and snowball wars. I suppose that’s why I await grandchildren so eagerly. 😉

So, you probably don’t want to see pictures of my crocuses?
