  3. Speaking as a big dog, I don’t find that I get much in the way of negative comments or abuse. Being a big ol’ [insert interesting word here] really does help everyone around me to be extra polite (even when they know that I’m not actually violent).

  4. Matthew: Yup, I related to that little dog, too. I’m average size for a woman, but I’ve been a long, long time learning to tell people where to get off – though I’m a lot better now than I was ten years ago. There’s something to be said for maturity!

    CQ: You’re seeing it from a perspective I hadn’t considered. Isn’t that interesting? A different perspective on the issue!

    Simon: No, I don’t imagine you would. One of the perks of being a big ol’…whatever. Nice, too, to know you don’t “throw your weight around” needlessly.
